The second edition of the MAP EXPO took place on 3 and 4 October at the Beursgebouw in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. MAP EXPO is THE global marketplace for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAP) and an international platform for the entire supply chain of MAP’s. MAP EXPO is all about establishing networks, exchanging information about the development of MAP’s and closing business deals. The event is organized by NBI-International, which is one of NIBC’s valued partners.
MAP EXPO 2018 turned out to be a great success. More exhibitors and visitors were present on this year’s edition. About 74 exhibitors from over 20 different countries were welcomed. Beside connecting to companies involved in MAP and finding potential trading partners, visitors were also offered an interesting seminar programme of various speaking sessions from companies and experts on MAP.
Since Iran offers a range of interesting, specific and authentic MAP companies, NIBC invited 2 Iranian companies as exhibitors on the MAP EXPO 2018. Both are producing and selling MAP’s and MAP related products worldwide and are well established companies in Iran. They were welcomed and hosted by Mr. Jan Siemons (Chairman NIBC) and Mr. Kaveh Mohammad Pour (Managing Director NIBC) during the course of the event.
We were happy to see the large interest in the products of Abroun Caspian International Trading and Vira Commerce. We established many fruitful contacts with entrepreneurs, companies, visitors and fellow other exhibitors from all over the globe and organized follow up meetings with potential partners.
NIBC and our partner NBI-International are looking back at a successful MAP EXPO. We thank Abroun Caspian International Trading and Vira Commerce for coming to the Netherlands and working together to introduce their unique products to the Netherlands and other international exhibitors and visitors. We look forward to a long and successful partnership on establishing business in the field of MAP. Also we like to say a big thank you to our partner NBI International for hosting and organizing these 2 fascinating days.
